Ok no offense but what was even the point of Pumba and Timon. They think they're funny. They're not. Now the disney channel on tv created a show that focuses only on timon and pumba. Seriously, they're not the best charectar made in the world. No one really wants to watch epsiodes on their boring lives. Pumba's just weird and Timon is so full of himself. they tuend a perfect movie trilogy into a stupid, pointless tv show that doesn'y even focus on the  the real main charectars Simba, Nala, Kiara, and Kovu. Seriously, in Lion King 1 1/2 It was basically all about them. It's called the LION king not the MERKEET king or WARTHOG king. It's sad that they turned a wonderfully done story into a story on two lesser charectars. Disney used to be the best movie creaters. Remember, Bambi, The Little Mermaid, Hercules, Aristocats,  Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, And Alladin. Please type back your opionon

I like Zack and Cody and That's So Raven. And I don't mind High School Musical. But I think I could live without Cheetah Girls, Cory in the House, and especially that stupid Timon and Puumba T.V. Series! It's so wierd! And disturbing at times.

I personally like this movie, but not as much as I like the two other TLK movies.. II totally agree with you about the new stupid TV programs.. The actors don't even act well..Too bad that Disney closed their studios..

something i notice is, there aren't any animated movies anymore. I mean, films that are hand DRAWN. not computer animated. The classics are the best, and it makes drawing them a lot easier. Personaly, short programs about low class charecters in films freak me out!

i agree i miss the old disney when it was nothing but cartoons and not"suite life"...or "corys in the house"...or all those stupid shows and i want them to start drawing more movies as well they were the best...but i have to disagree with the fact that lion king 3 was a bad film...people wanted to know about timon and pumbaa and where they came from and what their life was like but just becuase youdont like it doesnt mean that everyone havs to hate it...but the series it poointless

i agree as well if they were to have had a series it should have focused on the cub life os simba and nala after all simba mentions they were best friends im sure u dont become that after only one adventure. i would have made more sense for the seires to be based on sim and nala. Idk about a third lion king when they stopped with kovu and kiara that said enough. they couldnt keep it up or we'd have a "land b4 time" insedent again and no1 wants that.

I hate when Disney Channel turns movies into series, I mean a few work out, but the most I hate is the Emperor's School show. That lama guy wasn't as stupid in the movie!

Thsi is what I think of Disney TV shows, personally....I HATE HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL! I HATE CORY IN THE HOUSE! I HATE THE SUITE LIFE OF ZACK AND CODY! ... Thats So Raven is ok I suppose, but hey this is my opinion.. Yeh Dsiney's standards are definetly falling.. now its no better than PIxar or Dreamworks.. but hey, if you saw The Fox and The Hound in cinemas today, you would think it looked terribly old-fashioned against the new movies. As Disney adapted to the time, its standards fell. The only ecxeption I think is Pirates of The Carribean! That was actually good! I

Boy.... Terry Gilliam would LOVE this article, and all of the comments it has received. (Who is he? He made a post on HPANA and bashed the first 2 Harry Potter films and then complimented Alfonso Cuaron on the 3rd film. Cuaron is like the worst director EVER. He also bashed Steven Spielberg and Hollywood itself on some other posts.) I wonder what he would say about Timon and Pumbaa. Why don't you invite Terry Gilliam to this article? I can just imagine what he would write.......

i completely agree with you since the late 90's disney have gone down the gutter. they no longer have any decent ideas, i recon theyre so upthemselves that they dont even read the fanwork and inspire new work by them, there had been so many people on here who have written beautiful fan fics drawn complimentary art work but that is frowned upon by the company because of a copyright law when infact they could use the best of us to their potential

I agree with what you're saying. The show is completely pointless. Nobody watches it. But they are kind of important in the movies. They are the comic-reliefs.

On the contrary, I watch the series all the time. Now, I'll admit, not ALL of the episodes were done well, but films like Ivy Beleaguered, Once Upon a Timon, Wide Awake in Wonderland, Hakuna Matata U., Brazil Nuts, Gabon With the Wind, etc. Those were awsome. Hope Disney will put them in Season DVD boxsets soon. (They don't even know that there is a Timon and Pumbaa DVD online petition that curently has 111 signatures, and it's still growing!)

I watched that show once and it was TERRIBLE! i tottally agree with you Balto's Daughter! Omg it was like a dissgrace to all TLK fans everywhere!!! anywho good article!
