Its just something I noticed. We all remember the scene where Simbe mourns his father's death. Scar arrives but does nothing to get rid of Simba. I mean, Scar is full-grown, so he had the chance to kill Simba since he was a little cub. Even this early concept art proves that the creators had this in mind.

I hope you recognize this scene from TLK, only with a different pursuer.

Try to guess what Scar is saying to put such fear in Simba's eyes.

Why did Scar not finish him off when he had the chance. Why did Scar send the hyena's to do this dirty job? Why does Scar keep Simba's trust? 

A lot of fans say that Scar killed all the cubs (exept Nala) on PrideRock. But did he? Did he have to courage to kill these inoccent cubs or would he have avoided killing them himself? This seems good material for a fan fic story!

H ekept Simbas trust so that he would not suspect him of killing his father in the stampede,he DID kill the cubs because its what a new leader does..or he should have done..

He kept his trust by telling lies, the hyenas aren't afraid of anything (except Scar) Scar may be saying "Run away" and yes it would be a good fic

Scar didn't kill Simba because Simba was the future king and he knew if anyone found out he killed Simba he would be in trouble. So he made the Hyena's do it.

I always thought he just hated Simba and wanted to kill him so he couldn't become king after Mufasa but now that you mention it, you may have made me change my thoughts about Scar's feelings twards Simba.
