I read an article about this cub Kopa. I never really knew until I had read about it. The article pointed out that Kopa was Simba's cub, but then was killed by zira. But then the article said they wanted Kopa turned into a girl, so they made a kiara. What is the true stuff. I want to know!!!

I know that Kopa was Simba's son in the books...but not in the movie. That's what I heard anyway.

You are correct with your theory: As far as I've read, Disney was going to make The Lion King II a story about another young male's life, but after thinking it through, they had decided that since the first Lion King was already based on a male cub's life, they should make the second of a female's life instead. I guess they just wanted to mix things up Hope this answers your question

it confused me too. kopa was just an idea from disney which they just got rid of. if i were you i would just forget about it.
