Do you think after Kovu met Kiara he felt like he actually seen a friend in Kiara. I mean Kovu really seemed to like Kiara when he first met her after the crocodile attack. Kiara is one tough daughter I guess she got that from Nala or Simba. Anyway Kovu isn't like Scar. The only reason why he refused to hurt Simba was because he didn't want Kiara to think of him as an evil lion like Scar.

he went along with Ziras plan at first but then he realised he had feelings for kiara so thats why he was going to tell her he was part of a plan but he didnt want to be.
