Sarabi was the queen right? so if Kiara was going to be a queen with NO king, why did there have to be a king at pride rock, couldnt Sarabi just be queen and find a new mate ? why did Taka  have to be King?

sarabi was just mufassa's mate. mufassa was the king and scar was next in line until simba was born. when simba was born he was next in line and scar was moved back til after simba. when mufassa was murdered and simba disappeared scar became king because sarabi wasnt of royal blood so she wasnt the rightful queen.
