K&K :
When Zira is training Kovu, she says things like: You have the same conniving mind that made Scar so... powerful or You have the same blackness in your soul that Scar had. So, this means Zira and the outsiders knew that Scar was wicked and that he became king thanks to his evil intelligence (in fact, they seem to be proud of it).
However, when Simba and Kovu are having a talk, Kovu says: I never heard Scar's story that way....
What does he mean with that? and why does he seem so surprised?, his mother Zira was always talking about Scar being bad. What story had Kovu been told?
Tibb_wolf :
In Zira's mind, Scar was all powerful and everything he did was for the good of the pride. Yes - she was proud he was 'evil'. All the "Outsiders" thought so. He was their king.
The Simba comes along and showed Kovu how Scar really was. That he was heartless and evil. Simba just told a differnt side of the same story Zira had been telling.

Well, I think Zira told Kovu a different part of view of Scar's story. Zeira probly told Kovu that Scar was once king of the pride lands. manly lieing and telling him he was good. Now when Simba told the story, he probly told about his father's death and how he starved everybody. Thats the best I can say it. I tried and sorry for any confushion. |
