youre right it does go away and if it didnt go away it still wouldnt protect him because its a small tree and might get demolished by the stampede unless it was sturdy enouf and simba climbed to the very top

Simba was most likely too afraid to stay on the rock. How would you feel if there was a stampede of Wilderbeatst comming at you?
