 I keep reading that he was killed by zira but that seems to dark for a kids series. I think the reason he isn't in TLK2 is that disney had know idea about the book or didn't care about them. I also heard that he was born after TLK2 or became a rogue. I how like to hear what others think.

Nobody knows what happened to Kopa, read previous questions. we dont know...at all...they never even said he EXISTED in the movies. So therefor, in my eyes, he does not exsist anyway.

Nobody is completely sure about what happened to Kopa. The truth behind him is that the Disney creators were going to have TLK2SP be another movie about watching a young male cub grow up and find his place, but, since TLK1 had already held that similar story line, they had decided to make it a female instead. Kopa is from TLK6NA. Read them if your that curious. Also, a helpful tip would be to search for previously answered questions BEFORE asking them. People here get angered, let alone annoyed, seeing the same question twice. This already has numerous questions and answers posted.

kopa couldn't be born after TLK2 because Kovu & kiara aren't in the books & simba & Nala looks younger in the books than in the film. I personally think TLK 6NA aren't canon
