There is no Lion King three, the correct term for it is Lion King 1 1/2 they are basically telling us what was happening to Timon and Pumbaa during the first movie, in other words, it's a midquel. Like Bambii 2, Tarzan 2, and The Fox and the Hound 2, but since there allready is a 2, they called it 1 1/2.
