kovu probably didnt see any of the faces in the clouds after he was exiled. the animaters just put them there so we would see them and see how kiara felt and how simba felt. i highly doubt kovu acctually saw the faces |

No, it was just so that you could see the feeling of both of them at the same time, though Kovu could have been thinking of Simba and seeing his face in his mind, but not the clouds. |
